Background:

Recombinant human FGF basic-TS, expressed in engineered human cells, is a heparin-binding growth factor and is critical for embryonic stem cells to remain in an undifferentiated state during cell culture. Its function plays an important role in the regulation of cell survival, cell division, angiogenesis, cell differentiation and cell migration. FGF basic-TS is an engineered FGF basic with enhanced thermo-stability without modification of biological function. FGF basic-TS consists of 154 amino acids and is a 17 kDa, non-glycosylated monomer.
